Golf Tournament Goal Crushed!
Thanks to the leadership of Judy Kordella, Tourney Chair, a committed team of volunteers, sponsors, donors and players, we exceeded our annual goal! The sold-out tourney raside $20,000 for our mission. We are greatful! Lake Monticello Golf Course hosted this event and catering was provided by The Golf Pub. Cadets from Fork Union Military Academy gifted their assistance with golf bag drop off. In addition to many local businesses and individual donors, we had serveral tournament sponsors who made success possible. Our first modular home is almost ready for a new Partner Family! This new home also marks the phase 1 completion of the Houchens Place neighborhood. Our dedicated Rusty Nailz volunteer team did a skillful job executing the inside/outside construction, painting and landscaping. Contractors are currently wrapping up their specialized work while our future homeowners are completing the USDA low-interest mortgage progress. Before the home closes, we will open it up so donors, volunteers and community members can take a peek at how our non-profit fulfills our mission and goals.
